1 Sign in or create a Google account
Go to business.google.com and sign in with the Google account you want associated with this listing. If you don't have one, click "Create account" — it takes 2 minutes.
2 Add your business
Click "Manage locations" → "Add location". Enter "HydroHeat Mobile Wash" as the business name.
For address: select "I serve customers at their address" — then check the box for "I deliver goods and services to my customers" and enter the service areas listed above.

5 Write your business description
Use the description from the copy-paste card above. Keep it under 750 characters. Include your service area (Thomaston, Upson County, Middle Georgia) and your key differentiators (hot water, mobile, commercial focus, licensed & insured).

6 Add photos

7 Complete the profile and request verification
After saving your profile, Google will prompt you to verify your business. This is non-negotiable — unverified listings don't show in Maps.
Google's default verification method is a postcard sent to your business address — it takes 5–7 business days. Accept it. That's how long it takes.
⚠️ Do not skip verification. Without it, your listing will not appear in search results. Once the postcard arrives, enter the code in your Google Business dashboard and you're live.
8 Optimize after verification
Once verified, return and add:
- Service menu — list each service category (restaurant kitchen cleaning, fleet washing, industrial cleaning, etc.)
- Products — add "Hot water pressure washing" as a product
- Posts — Google Posts appear in your listing. Write a short welcome post, then seasonal promotions (spring clean, post-construction cleanup, etc.)
- Q&A — add common questions yourself, e.g. "Do you service residential properties?" → "We focus on commercial and industrial clients."
- Booking link — add your website as the booking/directions link
💡 Good to know
How long until it appears in Google Maps? Typically 1–3 days after verification for it to show up. Some categories take up to 2 weeks.
Can I edit this later? Yes — forever. The listing is yours once claimed.
What if there's already a listing for this business? Search for "HydroHeat Mobile Wash Thomaston GA" — if a listing exists, click "Claim this business" instead of creating a new one. Duplicate listings hurt local SEO.
